Title

Hull to Hornsea Rail Trail

Address
Hornsea Start/Finish, Railway Street, Hornsea, HU18 1PS
Description

Welcome to Hull to Hornsea Rail Trail

The Hull to Hornsea Rail Trail is part of the Trans Pennine Trail. The start of the trail at Hornsea can be found near the promenade, where there is an artfully designed wall to commemorate the start (or finish) of the trail. The trail can be easily accessed in two places in Hull, either on Robson Way, or at Kestrel Avenue in Sutton-on-Hull.

There are two sections of the Hull to Hornsea Rail Trail registered as Local Nature Reserves. The old Sigglesthorne Station at Great Hatfield (on the north side of where the trail crosses Sigglesthorne Road) and Southorpe (south of where the trail crosses Hull Road extending to Goxhill).

The Trans Pennine Trail itself extends from Hornsea on the East Coast to Southport on the West Coast of England, linking many major towns and cities along the way. View the full trail and more information on the Trans Pennine Trail website.
